September news

There have been a lot of great events and trainings this month as we start to move into the main sales period for Australia and New Zealand.  I have been out seeing staff, new and old, all over the UK and Europe and have even more trips planned.

October sees all sorts of suppliers come over to attend the Great Kiwi Road Trip which I will also be on.  There will also be ANZCRO events, Trailfinders trainings, Boomerang staff/consumer event and much more

Tourism New Zealand started the month with a Korero and Kai event which was well attended, and their stats are improving but still 27% below 2019 numbers.  Tourism Western Australia on the other hand are now 5.5% above pre-Covid numbers and have 25% more airline seat capacity.

I am presently in Aarhus in Denmark to see a big selection of Danish agents including My Planet staff from all over Scandinavia now that they have been bought by the Kilroy/JYSK/Benns group.

The photo is of Ega. When I am here I always visit a friend from Kilroy, Thea Schwartz, 25 years gone but not forgotten.
